ZAJC 1725 brewery is located at the heart of the archaeological park Divja Baba near Cerkno, and their beers are anything but Neanderthal. They are modern, artisanal, and strong. That’s why we go to Zajc!
Zajc Brewery has restarted the tradition of brewing beer in the region after almost 200 years. You can visit them to try out the excellent achievements from their brewery or visit the Zajc Brewery Museum. Here you can see a permanent exhibition of the history of local brewing. The tours are led by a master brewer and brewery owner Jože Podobnik – COCO, who has created and carefully added to the collection over the years.
