Our core activities

Sustainable, high-quality production and marketing of beer.
Fair taxation and beer trade.
Concern for the reputation of brewing and beer in Slovenia and abroad.

We connect brewers

Connecting for greater success

The Association of Slovenian Brewers connects our biggest Slovenian brewer Pivovarna Laško Union, the Institute for Hops and Brewing of Slovenia, as well as small Slovenian brewers. It welcomes to its ranks all brewers and partners who strive for a sustainable, socially and environmentally responsible and economically balanced brewing in Slovenia. Cultured and moderate consumption of beer is one of the priorities. And this can only be achieved with good education, respect for the beer and the work and efforts of its creators.

BeerPass connects

All of these were the guiding principles of the founding members of the BeerPass project, who were optimistic about the future of the industry during the greatest crisis. BeerPass Slovenia represents the desire for cooperation, continuous learning and creating a positive image of beer and brewers. With its high quality and creativity, Slovenian beer is an important part of Slovenia’s gastronomic heritage. BeerPass is one of the building blocks that presents domestic and foreign guests with at least part of the wealth of the world of Slovenian beers and the efforts of their creators.

Project BeerPass

“I believe that in Slovenia we have an extremely interesting range of craft breweries, which pride themselves on innovation and competence. The BeerPass project was born from the desire to present this power of ideas, these great brewing creators, to Slovenian and foreign visitors in a more organized fashion. At the Association of Brewers, we quickly realized that we will only succeed if we work together. The BeerPass project is the child of this kind of thinking and this kind of creative collaboration. I believe that it will bring many new, curious guests and beer lovers to the brewers, and quality new content and experiences to the guests. We look forward to other breweries joining the project in the future and thus further strengthening our joint portfolio.”
